There is a lack of green space around the area already and especially nowadays when we are encouraged to take care of mental and physical health it is important to have some natural spaces around us for everyone to be able to enjoy. More houses would lead to more congestion in an already busy area and when climate change is affecting us all more use should be made of existing housing stock that is already vacant.
