The proposal to build on Corbett Meadow is unbelievable!! From my back garden can be seen the beautiful mature trees at the top corner of the Meadow. We get plenty of wildlife - mammals + birds that must in part come from there.
I live on A491. It is already over burdened by traffic which is increasing daily. The vehicles from the meadow will inevitably go onto the A491 to join traffic from the new old wharf road development currently under construction less than half a mile away.
Has any thought been given to the already overcrowded schools doctors etc?
I can't understand why the Corbett Meadow can be forfeited for a short term financial NHS gain.
This was meant to be a legacy left by John Corbett to the people of Stourbridge!!!
