The major concern with this proposal as with all previous proposals is traffic disruption. The A461 is extremely busy. I often have to wait several minutes to get out of my drive especially turning right to Lichfield. Getting back in turning right is often difficult through queuing traffic and holds up vehicles behind.
The junction at Barracks Lane is dangerous already the site of many accidents.
The disruption during the building stage would not be pleasant,
We have already had major disruption from site traffic for the houses which have been extended during the pandemic. Heavy vehicles have bloched sight lines and caused noise, mess and distress.
