Representation Summary:

I am objecting to the plans for proposed large housing site (Strategic Allocation) WAH237 to the rear of the properties on Lazy Hill Road, Cotswold Close, Clifton Avenue, Malvern Drive, Ledbury Close and Linkside Way.
This site has good agricultural land which is used for for production which is needed now and for the future especially for supporting the UK's economy.
There are plenty of other brownfield sites that could be used which are not in residential area's. This site is minerals safeguarded area, so the plans for using it as a sand and gravel quarry prior to building should not even be contemplated especially so close to residential properties.
This land is not suitable for the proposed plans, there are far more appropriate brownfield sites which would not compromise food production for the UK and local residents health due to increased pollution from heavy plant machinery and mining.
GREEN BELT land should be protected - BROWNFIELD sites should be used first!
