Since I was a little girl, I have been using this greenbelt I would walk through the fields most weekends with my dad. My own children and my grandchildren still do. We all use it to walk our dogs for exercise, pleasure and mental well being. I have had many sociable conversations with people. I have met dongtre way on my walks. I take my grandchildren bug hunting and also use tre fields to walk into Pelsall which is a much safer and pleasurable route. My son now works from home and uses this greenbelt everyday in his lunch break or his own mental health and well being. In could times we were all lucky enough to have this greenbelt on our doorstep to use. So much is said about mental and physical health, the impact on the environment and wildlife, you could even see deer in the fields, and yet the government want to take this away.
If I didn't have this greenbelt, then I would use my car adding to the carbon emissions impact on the environment.
Also traffic is already congested dwon mob lane and coronation road as the road is not wide enough. SO what will extra traffic do to this. If these houses go a head it would change. My life style, I like living in this area because of the greenbelt and I would probably sell up and move. And this would be a key point for me considering which party to vote for at the next election.
