Representation Summary:

Please find this email as a written confirmation in support of keeping the Corbett Meadow safe and
undeveloped. I have lived in the area for my whole life and have always found this space to be an
oasis for the local wildlife. This includes foxes, bats, herons and multiple breeding
pairs of buzzards. The trees that are on the site are also of significant value to the local area.
Offsetting part of our carbon imprint is just one example of this.We have even had sightings of deer
in the nearby area which may be using the wildlife corridors to travel safely when it can. Recently
there were temporary traffic lights placed at the top and the bottom of Vicarage Road, albeit only
for approximately half a day, not the most well planned from a logistics point of view. However,
this led to a significant traffic build up which affected most of the local area, one set of traffic
lights happened to be placed at the junction where you can view the meadow. It took me almost 30
minutes to travel from the top of Trinity Road to get to the Corbett Hospital. This served a purpose
for me and many others I am sure, to bring home exactly what kind of an impact that developing this
site would have. An already busy infrastructure would struggle under the weight of additional
services needed in order for this to go ahead. Please bear my thoughts in mind, firmly putting my
views in the 'Please don't allow this' section. I would like my children to continue to grow up
with this fantastic place as a backdrop to their home and to continue to support this as they get
older too. If you need anything further from me
please feel free to contact me on this email address.
