Representation Summary:

I appreciate the need to provide you housing hence bcp but I do not think that the above should be considered a sustainable location reasons only a few them as follows
1 traffic congestion is already a big problem queues form along Mob Lane, Coronation Rd, Fordbrook Lane and Vicarage Rd building 763 homes will dramatically increase volume, most homeowners will probably own two cars so potentially 1500 cars added to the area. Air quality will deteriorate but already we shut our windows during peak times to avoid the fumes. We also avoid car journeys at these times as traffic conditions are so bad
2 the plan mentions the need to provide healthy and safe places to live but the amount of school traffic is not safe now - our pupils on cycles scooters walking and running across the roads have already caused accidents
3 local infrastructure would not be adequate: insufficient GPs, school places not to mention sewage problems already experienced in coronation road due to lack of capacity of present pipes
4 Wildlife habitats are very important particularly relating to protected species eg [Redacted-sensitive information] which we have at the moment [Redacted-sensitive information] all are seen in this area. With current emphasis on green issues this is a contentious issue with many who feel green belt land should not be built on.
5 Pelsall will be increased in size to such a degree that our village identity will be lost
6 young and old enjoy our precious green belt and I want it to be preserved for future generations I feel green belt should only be built on as a last resort. Brownfield sites are plentiful in the Black Country and should be fully utilised
