I live in [Redacted-GDPR] Sandhills, Walsall. I would like to comment on the proposal of a build of 800 homes on home farm land [Ref: WSA1]. Currently Lichfield Road from Cartersfield Lane to the junction of Chester Road/Lichfield Road is already at saturation point with the amount of traffic at various times during the hours of 7:30am to 18:00pm hours.
A future increase in local population would have an adverse result on the situation.
Generally I disagree with any use of green belt for housing. All brown field sites should be utilised first.
