Representation Summary:

CORONATION ROAD / MOB LANE
Green Lane is narrow, floods and the drainage being ditches it also has a very sharp corner and there are no pedestrian pavements. It is also used as a route to cut out the high street Walsall Wood and numerous traffic lights. It is a very busy lane for its size and condition. The Black Cock Bridge, even when replaced is only going to be a single file bridge. If you lived around here you would have to hear the constant blare of car horns as it is so high and narrow. Building all those houses would put even more strain on the local roads and bridges.
The land around Mob Lane/Coronation Road is good agricultural land and used for growing crops. Building houses would mean less land available for food production.
Building 1,500 homes would put pressure on the area which is already at capacity i.e. school roads.
The buffer zone between here and Walsall would be further eroded. Already it comprises numerous smelly eyesore tips and land intended for clay extraction and then another tip. We have [species redacted] and a variety of birds which would have less room to roam for food and shelter. It is already heavily built up without using what little green belt we have left.
