Representation Summary:

Good afternoon

I'm contacting yourselves in regards to the building of houses on a Green Lung site which is earmarked for housing, this is an existing green space which is vital to our environment and mental wellbeing, evenmore so since the recent pandemic.
This site hosts a wonderful habitat for insects and larger species of wildlife also an abundance of Flora, which as you may be aware is vital to the adjacent Coalbourne Brook Valley.
I have spoken to a representative of Persimmon homes, who really wasn't aware of the implications of building on this site would cause, and she was quite empathetic about it.
From History John Corbett left this site to the people of Stourbridge and should remain like this.
In the past events and fairs have been held in the Meadow, I'm sure this could happen again with the support of local residents who could fundraise for local communities.
I regularly use this site for dog walking, thinking, summarising and fresh air in taking and would sorely miss this wonderful environment, I could sit for hours gazing into the Meadow watching the Herons, Buzzards and other birds doing their daily routine.
Many local residents are opposed to this site being built on as shown by comments and posts on Social media, there are already a number of houses being built less than a mile away which is on a Brown site, but again my concern is environment pollution from the vehicles which will add to this leading into Amblecote itself, again I'm aware of the wildlife issues on this site.
I truly hope this and any other emails you received are read and certainly taken on board, and hopefully not fall on deaf ears.
Please take all considerations into account.....unless the decision has already been made.

Kind regards
