The proposed housing development on Coronation Road/ Mob Lane will have a detrimental effect on the environment. There will be a loss to farm land and public footpaths that are used on a regular basis. This will also have a knock on effect to the wildlife.
The housing development will create a large carbon footprint, which should be avoided where possible to help climate change.
It is accepted that there is a housing shortfall but there are numerous brownfield sites that could be used within the area.
