Uses of the canal, and the homes owners, should have been giving a proper opportunity to provide feedback via post on the plans for Home farm as not all homeowners have been made aware or have the internet. The field appears to flood in certain areas and I believe it also runs across a fault line, which would cause issues. Building a large estate on the side of a country canal walk will change the area, and the use of the canal will drop as people will no longer see this as a safe place to exercise outdoors.
