Building on Green Belt land is environmentally unsound. This land is the only open and wild space within walking distance in this area - any alternative is a significant drive away. This is a necessary space for many local residents, not just for dog walking. It is a habitat for a huge and varied population of wildlife. This space has been one of very few lifelines for me personally, and as a family, and many other people, during the extended lockdowns.
