This is a bio-diverse and popular area with local walkers and nature-lovers. It is a mental health lifeline for so many and a connection to nature that doesn’t first require a car journey. To take this experience from our community would be devastating for so many. I regularly see a number of different species of animals in the area proposed for development. Where will they go? I appreciate the need for affordable housing but at what cost? Climate change is a greater threat than housing. Please find an alternative to building on our green belt land.
