I object to the reassignment of any green belt and recreational land for the purposes of housing and employment. Wolverhampton, and the surrounding areas, not only needs to maintain existing green and recreational space, but it also needs to dramatically increase availability of such land. Currently, land is grossly under-utilised - look at the number of on-surface car parks that could easily placed under housing and shopping facilities etc as an example - and there are plenty of empty, under-used, semi-derelict and derelict properties (housing and employment) in the area that need to be looked at first.
