I would like to add my support to Sandwell Council's decision not to include the land at Peak House Farm Lane off Wilderness Road as a possible site for housing development in the draft Black Country Plan.

If this decision is challenged, I ask that my opposition is noted. In the current situation, with clear indications of global warming, I feel that losing any green belt land would be totally inappropriate. This land has been designated as "unsuitable for housing" and the hedgerows, in particular, support biodiversity and an abundance of wildlife.

I would strongly oppose any attempt to appeal the Council's decision at any future date.
