Representation Summary:

I am writing to strongly oppose the application for planning for the erection of over 500 residential units on the triangle site at Kingswinford site SA 0025-DUD.

I am afraid I simply cannot believe that we as a community of Kingswinford and Wall Heath we art being put in the position of having to oppose further development planning.

it is very very clear that Lodge Lane, Swindon Road and the A449 always has been and remains to this day, extremely busy roads especially at the beginning and end of the school day. The developers have not considered the roads at its maximum capacity currently and will be far beyond breaking point with the additional traffic that over 500 houses produces using it as them as access roads. There have already been numerous accidents including fatalities.
To any decision makers who may be looking at this planning application, I simply implore you to drive or walk around this local area and view the local ammenities for the public.
At the end of Lodge Lane, the junction leading on to the A449 is already a dangerous turning especially to the right as you turn out of Lodge Lane. It is already a major cause of concern for road users and is the scene of so many hits and near misses.

The amount of pedestrians, children, cyclists, animals, and parked cars in and around Summerhil Secondary school, is already a huge concern with the traffic but to add another 500+ houes would be multiple accidents waiting to happen. The road systems simply cannot take the increase in, household cars and all vehicles used to service the new housing.
The area does not have the capacity to allow sufficient infrastructure in place to support this. It can not support this increase in residents with primary and secondary school places, dentists, a1ong with and maybe most importantly Hospital and GP capacity.
The damage to the environmentand risk of increase flooding is also of great concern andMarthere are Multiple protected species including Skylarks and bats within the proposed area.
