BLACK COUNTRY SITE ASSESSMENT REPORT
DUDLEY APPENDIX A, PAGE 79, THE TRIANGLE SA-0025-DUD
We are most concerned about the proposals for building 533 high value homes in this site and present our objections for the following reasons:-
1) This 'triangle' is certainly not suitable for buildings, it is close to Summerhill school with a 20mph speed limit, a dangerous road A449 where there has already been many road accidents, and congestion at the traffic lights at Summerhill is already horrendous.
2) Increase in number of vehicles would also increase pollution alongside road safety.
3) This would mean loss of green belt when it is far better to use brownfield sites for redevelopment first.
4) It would put even more pressure on local facilities such as doctors surgeries, schools (already over subscribed) shops and emergency services to make them even more unsustainable.
5) New primary schools would also need to be built to accommodate the increase in population.
6) The local environment would be severely affected regarding loss of ancient trees, natural habitats, loss of wildlife
7) It is also adjacent to Ridgehill Woods which will be greatly impacted affecting wildlife.
Please reconsider as local residents DO NOT WANT OR NEED this. An action which cannot be reversed!!
Thank you
