Effect on Local Roads
Local Infrastructure is already congested. The A449 is a very busy, noisy road and access via the Wall Heath roundabout area an increasingly dangerous manoeuvre for both vehicles and pedestrians. The sloping gradients tempt 'a game of chicken' as thundering cars and lorries descend into the narrow, inadequate 2 into 3 lanes design.
Hence suggestions of tinkering with an extra spur onto W'ton Rd, or even re-developing the muddy track from Holbeache towards Oak Lane are not financially viable. the peace and quiet of the elderly residents of Holbeache house is under attack from all sides.
