The Black Country Site Assessment Report - The Triangle SA-0025-DUD

The extra number of vehicles on the local road, if this 533 house building goes ahead at the triangle will totally and utterly gridlock an already over congested area. We are retired so, to a large extent, can go out when the "traffic rush" is over, but even so, I find, what should be a 10 minute journey to Asda @ Brindley Hill can, and has taken me 40 minutes what will it be like with all the extra traffic?? We just won't move.
Also, at Doctors surgeries - there are no appointments available as it is without an influx of over 1000 more people.
Russells Hall Hospital is literally at breaking point. On Monday 4th October there were four ambulances having to wait to unload patients for up to 4hrs. The waiting time in A&E was up to 9 hours. The out of hours dept. was on its knees with people sitting on the floor and in the door ways. There are plenty of Brownfield sites in this area, but planners and builders don't want to build on them because they do not have the attraction, and can't command the same amount of money. The schools are also over subscribed.
