Reduced visual impact on surrounding area.
Health and wellbeing of locals affected adversity.
During works, disruption to traffic flow, noise and CO2 pollution.
'Rabbit runs' created due to impatience in traffic hold ups creating danger to pedestrians especially at school times.
What is currently an urban area will be eroded into new urban.
House values of current properties will be eroded as a result.
High quality new homes will be of a size, type and price unaffordable by current locals / offspring.
Lack of rail links and cycle lanes to ease congestion.
Overburdening of GP surgeries, dentists, hospital appointments, waiting lists due to the 863 homes and increase population.
Local schools currently just accommodate current numbers. Any thoughts on expansion will just cause more greenfield loss.
Developers have little o no concern on locals as they rarely live where they build, they prefer green to brown sites at less cost to develop, due to less cleaning of site = more profit.
Loss of valuable prime agricultural land which should nowadays be considered even more important in todays climate.
The impact on the environment and wildlife is of most concern, hedgerows,, owls, buzzards, bats and red kites spring to mind not to mention bee, butterfly and insect population.
Men in suits who don't live in this area come up with these proposals, should we all follow bad decisions and like lemmings just jump over the cliff because they say so? Once this valuable land is lost it is lost forever, look again at brownfield sites and reduce expected numbers, lets see the suits build in their local areas, lead by example!
