Representation Summary:

. The woodland presents itself as an effective medium in which to enable take up water from our ever pervasive problem drainage area , especially well known on low level water table in region of fothergill brook (north boundary site WAH 230 refers) , the drainage problem is likely to exacerbated by all of the proposed developments 230/246 and 254

I am concerned that housing in all three zones (there is no total number of homes advised but expected circa 200+) coupled with other developments in Streetly will result in excessive demands upon our infrastructure within the whole of Streetly and our resources are already grossly insufficient to meet the need of education , facilities for health (surgeries) and especially on already overloaded road system which also occurs within the conurbation. In connection with roads I have have specific concern that
The Chester Road at all zones will be challenged, furthermore I am seriously concerned that in a means to an end , that the traffic from proposed housing sites will be diverted via point b and c to a (see above) on to the Hardwick Road . This would have devastating consequences on density of traffic placing major pressure upon an ageing generation who reside in this locality.
Proposals have been promoted by numerous political factions to promote the utilisation of “brown field” sites in preference to green belt of which CLEARLY all Zones referred to above are at present categorized grade 1 green belt. It is my belief that numerous areas designated existing employment are in fact having redundant or unoccupied premises but clearly require some work and energy to restitute
or erase inclusive of cleaning the environmental burden which we inherit. It is questionable that the big plan draws stripping peripheral assets in order to achieve quick gains with the least effort – which after all is human nature
BUT sorry Nature requires all of us to be human So please let us all cherish and plan effectively not to lose what we will never recover these are the ingredients for our conurbation and our macro world to be sustainable Its called our earth
