Representation Summary:

Site Reference DUH211 Land at Swindon Road, Wall Heath, Kingswinford (The Triangle Site)

I am most concerned about the proposed development of 533 houses on the triangle of land DUH211 for the following reasons:

1 Loss of Green Belt.
All brownfield sites should be prioritised before using greenfield sites with the loss of agricultural land.

Whilst I recognise the importance of homes for people I believe brown field sites should be used first as a means of improving the environment of brownfield sites for current residents. New housing improves the local area where only dereliction existed before. This is a positive.
Using green field sites can only be seen as a negative, in an already densely developed area.

2 Effect on local schools.
The schools in this area are already at capacity. There is simply no room with the existing provision to accommodate more pupils and expect standards and pupil experience to improve, or at least remain constant

3 Effect on local services. NHS
There are not enough GP surgeries or dental surgeries for booking an appointment in a reasonable time span currently. More homes and people will exasperate this.

4 Effect on local services. Infrastructure
I am very concerned by the increase of traffic this site will generate on the road by Summerhill School and the A449. This is for safety factors for students in particular, CO2 admissions and noise pollution.
