The proposal to build executive homes on green belt land is totally unacceptable, especially as there are many brownfield sites available which can be used. The green belt spaces are not only areas of outstanding beauty, comprised of a wide diversity of plants and trees, but also provide vital habitat for the local wildlife, and play a vital role in helping to reduce flooding in the area. Furthermore these houses are not even proposed to be affordable housing to help first time buyers, this is greedy developers wanting to make big money by building on prime land, which does not have the local infrastructure to support it.

The existing highway structure cannot cope with the extra demand which will placed on it with these new houses, roads are already in very poor condition with potholes etc, and the added pollution and conjestion it will cause to an already overused A449 will be intolerable. Public transport links in the area are also poor.

Medical services which are already stretched to the limits will not be able to cope with the increased demand on services, at present it is almost impossible to get a doctors appointment without having to wait a considerable amount of time. Waiting times at Russells Hall Hospital are also going to increase as well as longer ambulance waiting times.

If these are to be family homes where will the children go to school as there are no places available locally? Will new schools have to be built? Will these also be built on green belt land?
