Representation Summary:

As a Kingswinford resident I am writing to object to the development of Land South of Holbeache Lane/Wolverhampton Road, Kingswinford and Land at Swindon Road, Wall Heath, (The Triangle).

There are a number of reasons for my objection, mainly the increased traffic and congestion that the development of these sites would cause. Kingswinford is already extremely congested and more houses in the area is only going to add to this already increasing problem. In addition, the increase in traffic would result in higher levels of pollution.

The areas of Green Belt are so very important to our ward and I feel that losing them would be a devastating loss to Kingswinford, not to mention the amount of wildlife which would be affected too. Also, these areas are where children play and losing them would mean young people have less recreational space.

The schools in Kingswinford are already very over-subscribed. With the number of houses increasing, the number of children needing school places will also increase which may lead to families having to travel further to schools as there are no places in local schools - this again will have an impact on traffic congestion.

Doctors are already extremely busy with long waiting times - with more houses and more residents this is only going to magnify the problem further leaving residents without the access to medical treatment that they need. This is the same for Russells Hall Hospital - already waiting lists are long with patients having to wait for urgent medical care, this again will only get worse with an increase in residents.

Overall, I am firmly objecting to the development of the sites and hope that my objections are heeded.
