To Whom it May Concern
I am writing this email in response to hearing about The Black Country Plan and in particular how this will effect the woodland wildlife habitat at the rear of Lindrosa Road and Windermere Drive in Streetly (Walsall Council) where I live.
How, in all good conscience, with our knowledge of how it is essential for the environment and climate change that we protect wildlife habitat, can we destroy said wildlife habitat for the purpose of building houses? It is incredulous that in this day and age anyone can make such a destructive decision.
Surely we must protect wildlife habitat and seek brownfield sites on which to build.
I am absolutely horrified to hear that Councils are prepared to contribute to global warming and the decline of so many wildlife species. Why are Councils contributing to the destruction of our planet when alternatives are available?
Thank you for considering my comments.
