Representation Summary:

Holbeache greenbelt BCP site ref DUH208
The Triangle BCP site ref DUH211

Loss of greenbelt
The visual amenity and character of the area would dramatically change. It is useful agricultural land graded 3 and above.
I feel tat old factory brownfield sites should be redeveloped in inner cities to revive town centres.
Quality of life
Both sites currently provide valuable countryside giving residents opportunity of good air quality leading to good mental health and wellbeing.
There will be higher light and fuel pollution. The extra noise will destroy the current tranquility. The number of extra vehicles on the road will cause extra traffic congestion which is already at worrying levels, there is not the road infrastructure to cope with further vehicles in the area.
GP surgeries and schools are already full. Health and social care services in Dudley Borough are already at breaking point, there is not the resources to provide for extra residents.
- destruction of local environment.
- loss of ancient trees.
- further contribution to climate change, loss of wildlife, impact on fields and meadows.
- flood risk, there is currently a problem at the island by Hickures further housing will make things worse.
