- There is no excuse to even contemplate using green belt to build houses on to. when there is adequate brownfield sites to use first.
-The impact of increased traffic is significant because already the roads around and within Kingswinford are extremely busy. This has an impact on safety for our children walking to school. The roads are certainly not built for even more. Conjestion, let alone the air pollution we have to consider.
- the local schools, hospital and GP surgeries are already under significant amounts of pressure. Once again building within the areas mentioned will certainly feel more strain.
- Providing more high value houses does not solve the issue of the need for more affordable or social housing.
- Increased risk of flooding, higher noise levels impact of adjoining residents and wildlife.
- I feel passionately for the wildlife, we are already seeing a decline in moths, butterflies and bee's. There won't be anywhere nearby to enjoy the green spaces. It will be a built up area with fewer and fewer green spaces.
-Building on green belt should not be approved except in very special circumstances. I cannot see any justification for taking away our green belt. Once its gone, it is gone. This would be unforgivable.
