Representation Summary:

I wish you to log our objection to the Black Country Plan (review 2021) which will include Bentley Lane
Reedswood Walsall within a proposed "Core Regeneration Area see page 499 within the figure 19
Walsall Spatial Strategy Plan.
This will just encourage future development pressures on this very important public space and indeed
the other spaces mentioned too .These areas are already under pressure with more traffic and
pollution and this will only add to the problem. Where are people going to walk their pet dogs or
exercise?. These areas were and are a God send during the Covid Lockdown keeping us in touch with
people at a distance and helping with mental welfare.
Also we are supposed to be looking aer our green spaces and wildlife, where will they go? I see dead
wildlife every week on our roads around these areas.
I have lived in this area [Redacted-GDPR] and was under the impression that Bentley Lane was a re-claimed
landfill site and always had issues. What will happen to all the trees that protect the pollution from
the motorway?. I believe these plans will cause more illness to the people of this area.
Walsall Council's planning policy approach is promoting unsustainable patterns of development
contrary to Government (London) national planning guidance set out in paragraphs 11,
16,35,92,98,153,154,174,179 of the revised National Planning Policy framework( NPPF) (July 2021).
