We live in Lothians Road Pelsall, near to the York’s bridge development proposal. Hundreds of new houses means hundreds more cars and children requiring schools. Our road is sheer hell during rush hour and school runs, plus with the council yard nearby increasing heavier traffic bypassing the finger post lights adds to the problem. We live near a primary school which has probably doubled in size since we’ve been living here. Traffic during school runs is dire and causes major disruption and safety risks, that neither the school or council have been willing to address after numerous approaches from residents. I will oppose York’s Bridge development until such time as clear plans are definitely in place to stop us getting totally overwhelmed with traffic. Most days our road is totally log jammed with the school run. Come and have a look. Walsall council & the school won’t even pop around the corner to look.
