These Greenfield sites are inappropriate for housing development; the transport infrastructure is incapable of supporting these developments- local roads are regularly blocked at peak times now. Bus services are slow and tedious and the railway (which could provide a fast link to the national network) was dismantled in 1984.
It is impossible to address climate change by constructing more and more houses.
Any new build (provided it can be justified) should be on Brownfield sites.
