1. Loss of valuable green belt, agricultural land. Better to use brownfield land and re use old factory sites and redevelop our inner cities
2. Impact on traffic & transport increasing pollution and congestion which is already extremely high in this area.
3. Loss of our wildlife, natural habitat, ancient trees and the impact on wildlife corridors in these areas. Flood risk affecting drainage of the area & ground water.
4. Quality of life with pollution, high noise levels and poorer air quality
5. Local facilities will have increased pressure, including our schools, doctors surgeries, shops and emergency services.
6. Road infrastructure struggling to cope with the high traffic levels already.
