Representation Summary:

A development of 1343 houses for the Pelsall area is totally ridiculous. I realise there is a shortage of housing for the country but this amount of development is not sustainable in the area. There is not the road development is the areas suggested to cope with the extra traffic these developments will no doubt produce. The roads are already congested with large container lorries apart from the cars and vans going through the area. There is little parking in the area as well.
I would also think it is unlikely that there are school places available in the area for primary or secondary aged children as there are very few facilities for children indeed we have no library now due to this having been closed down. There are only three doctors for this area so again this would be a problem.
The developments are on green belt sites which sustain a large amount of wildlife which will definitely be affected by building on this site. The sites are also used by many people for recreational purposes.
Finally there are lots of areas and empty properties in the area which could be developed before using good land.
