Draft Black Country Plan

Representation Summary:

My specific objection is to the proposed use of land on Worcester Lane, Stourbridge for 115 new builds (F).
My objection as a local resident is based on a few points,
Firstly, this land has always been a welcome 'green space' between Stourbridge and Hagley (although maybe this is the least important point).
Next, the traffic on Worcester Lane is already heavy and particularly as 'peak times'. It is already difficult at these 'times' to get onto Worcester Lane from Bromwich Lane. What are your plans to solve this because 'solutions' will have to be provided?
Next, local services such as schools and doctors are already 'stretched' and the pandemic has already exacerbated this. What are your plans to address this?
Next, you will know that this land and the surrounding land is well-used for walking with or without dogs. Do these plans affect these long-established walk-ways?
Next, the building of new homes will inevitably displace and at worst kill not only natural habitat but also the wildlife that lives there. How and where will there habitats be re-established for successful wildlife re-habitation.
Please consider these points carefully and I expect your reply in due course.
Yours sincerely
