Representation Summary:

Regarding the plans to build homes on the former Wolverhampton Environment Centre at WV3 9AY.
Ref WOH 274 WTNA.
I wish to register my objection to the destruction of this important piece of green land which is very close to my home. The site is home to a wide array of plant and animal life, [redacted] and is a much loved space for many local people. Wolverhampton has little protected green space, but quite a lot of brown field waste land, and I strongly feel that any development
should make use of brown field sites first before ruining our remaining natural havens. This site has several pools, and some of the land is quite boggy - it seems highly likely that any building here is likely to require a lot of disruptive re-routing of water courses and is quite likely to cause flooding issues. Hardly something that the council should be aspiring to.
I hope that the overwhelming weight of public opinion, which is strongly opposed to building on this
land, will be recognised rather than ignored by our elected representatives.
