Representation Summary:

Objection to Yorks Bridge & Coronation Road/ Mob Lane. Pelsall.
My home village of Pelsall has retained its village status * appeal for hundreds of years. Although I accept it has grown in the 56 years I have lived here I believe that additional building on the 2 proposed sights will be damaging to the environment and spoil the beautiful green belt land that we are very lucky to have. The areas are outstanding and most residents use these for walking, cycling, entertaining children & introducing them to nature on our doorstep. The benefit for residents & visitors is immense and helps with the many mental health issues we all now face! Additional homes in these areas will bring more traffic, pollution and take away Greenbelt land that is precious to us all in Pelsall.
I would state that there are Brownfield sites in Pelsall that have been derelict for years, eg. The site at The Bush Inn - this is a large area that I sure could be used for a small quantity of housing that residents would accept, rather than a supermarket which has been proposed.
I strongly object to the new housing on Greenbelt land. Use Brownfield sites a derelict buildings that could be refurbished and maintain the character of the area.
Pelsall Greenbelt should be protected, I cannot see other areas accepting these proposals as our open land is an environmental success and provides stimulation to residents and helps support mental health.
