Representation Summary:

I wisah to object to any proposed plans to redevelop Brandhall Golf course. This site is a haven for wildlife and there are very few open spaces in the area for people to relax, maintain their mental and physicla wellbeing, socialise safely and exercise dogs. The surrounding houses are at grave risk of flooding if this site is redeveloped.

Whilst I work in social housing, and I appreciate the crisis in this nation for housing - there are plenty of more sustainable/enviromentally friendly options available - working with landlords/housing associations to renovate derelict buildiungs/ flats above shops. Invest in more staff in the compulsory purchase teams. I know you think this is too costly a process, but the cost to our nations wildlife (which impacts the rest of the world) and the cost to our immedaite and future generatiosn health and social wellbeing is far greater.

Why not establish community groups who can take responsibility for the general maintenece of these open spaces - in collaboration with the council staff? isnbt this what communtiy is about? its not an us and them mentality - but the councils drawing on the local communities (and vice versa) to all work together to ensure a better, safer, cleanber and morew wholesome community.
