I wish to object to the proposed housing developments which are planned for Bushbury; Cat &Kittens Lane, Northycote Lane + Legs Lane. this would mean a total of 523 houses on green belt land. this would be in addition to the large development of 200+ houses due to be built on the site of the 'old Northicote school land nearby.
Building the 4 new estates would mean creating one huge estate when merged with the Old Hall Park, Moseley Parkland, Moseley Meadow & Moseley Green Estates close by and would take away a huge amount of beautiful local countryside. the creation of these new estates would have a huge impact on local services which are already overstretched. There is free land adjoining Tennyson Road which was housing land until the houses were demolished. Why not build there. there must be underused land in Wolverhampton which would be ideal for small estates which would not infringe on the greenbelt land
