Draft Black Country Plan

Representation ID: 13652

Received: 23/09/2021

Respondent: Mrs Lynn Humphries

Representation Summary:

I do not believe that there is any need to use up more greenbelt areas in Pelsall. Over the years they have built up the village at Moat Farm, Clayhanger, Goscote Lane, and many more sites including the estate at the back of St Pauls Crescent. Any more houses and the schools and public services would be stretched beyond capacity. The schools are already creaking under the strain of what has been built already.
Obviously it's people who don't come from Pelsall that are doing this not knowing Pelsall Village heritage, and that we don't want our village to lose its identity or its green places and just become a concrete jungle of houses joining all our small villages into one big splurge.
We need all our green areas, we moved here over 40 years ago for the open spaces, fresh air and trees. Pelsall greenlands have been destroyed enough!
Leave Pelsall alone! No more Houses!
