I am objecting to any development on Northycote Lane and Cat & Kittens Lane -blackcountryplan.dudley.gov.uk/t12/p5 and t12/p6 for the following reasons:
Where do I begin with my objections to the building on these pieces of precious greenbelt? What on earth do you think you are acheiving by ripping up more and more trees, hedgerows, green pastures, etc???? Why do we need even more housing???? Who is it for???? More people that are coming to this area/the UK who are "poor migrants who need a better life", a better life claiming our benefits, using our health care, our eduction system, needing housing that we haven't got so we need to build!!!!
I appreciate that UK citizens (born here) need affordable starter homes for their children, smaller accommodation for more elderly people, but surely these can be built on much much smaller plots of land, say on sites of old industrial land (The Royal Hospital keeps being talked about, Goodyear site was an excellent site to build on).
What planet are these people on who want to build on greenbelt???? If they carry on like this there will be no planet left!!
I think it is absolutely awful that there are plans to ruin even more of our countryside. We have also got that ridiculous plan regarding putting a major link road through greenbelt close to us going around too.
DO NOT BUILD ON THESE SITES.
