Representation Summary:

I think to use greenbelt land for any other purpose that it was meant for is a gross mistake knowing how planning works. I would suspect that if greenbelt land is used this time, in future some more excuses will be found to use more.
The greenbelt was setup after the 2nd World War to give a breathing space between populated areas. Since then more and more greenbelt has been eroded until there will not be any left for future generations to enjoy.
I think the needs of housing and industry can be met by using brownfield sites. I can only comment on the Walsall area, but I am sure the same applies to all areas.
In this day and age with global warming such an issue is very irresponsible to cover more land with bricks and mortar.
