With particular reference to DUH211 p371 (The Triangle)
I am very concerned about the development of this site for a number of reasons.
1 - The effect that extra people will have on the services in Kingswinford. Doctors' surgeries are already under pressure, schools are oversubscribed and our local hospital is working at full capacity.
2 - the amount of traffic is already at crisis point - our roads cannot sustain further cars with people trying to commute to work in the conurbation - public transport is not an option for many who work further away than the local area. The air pollution will be increased affecting the children walking to school.
3 - Recent development on Brownfield sites (which I support) has already put strain on local services - these extra homes will only add to this.
4 - Lodge Lane and Swindon Road are the only options for an access road onto the new housing development - it is a major route to school for many - will it be safe?
