To allow the development of the Green Belt would be catastrophic to this wonderful area which is a pleasure to live in. I would formally strongly like to object to the development of any Green Belt spaces within Great Barr and the Barr Beacon area, these historic areas should be protected and not swamped by housing. I strongly believe that brown field sites should be redeveloped into housing and not green belt land. This should not be subject to budgetary restraints. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, stated only yesterday, that green fields should not built upon.
