I want to object in the strongest terms to the loss of green space in this plan, especially around Northicote and behind Belton Avenue. These homes should be in the city centre.
The fields behind Belton Ave are very well-used by local families for sport, exercise and dog-walking.
The plans would also significantly change the area around Northicote Farm.
We have very little green space left in Wolverhampton and many other options. I urge a total rethink on increasing city centre housing to meet numbers and preserve these green spaces in my constituency of Wolverhampton North East. Jane Stevenson MP
