Draft Black Country Plan

Representation ID: 11890

Received: 10/10/2021

Respondent: Mr John Silvester

Representation Summary:

With particular reference to WOH274 WTNA, I know this land to be of significant ecological importance, being habitat to Great Crested Newts, deer to list just a few species of significance. The land is well used daily and its position in the community and its importance relating to the mental health and well-being of all who visit cannot be measured. The plan to build on this developing shallow wetland is totally inappropriate, and further raises safety concerns due to the access point crossing the railway walk. It must not proceed.
