I am objecting to development on green belt land in Stourbridge. During the pandemic having access to these areas has been critical for my mental health and wellbeing, as it has been for many residents. There is plenty of brownfield land which should be developed first. This proposal violates the 5 purposes of the Green Belt, particularly C, D and E. Housing on Worcester Lane is unlikely to be affordable housing so does nothing to address the current housing situation. Building on our green belt is universally opposed and I am prepared to join protests should residents feedback be ignored.
