1. Many people including my young children value the site as a place to connect with nature due to the horses, insect and bird life that inhabit it.

2. The path leading to the site (that runs from Hyperion Road to Kingsway) is used as an escape route by criminals. This access needs to completely blocked off rather than expanded. Vehicle and property crime in Hyperion Road and surrounding area is already at a high level.

3. Adding more houses here will result in increased pressure on already oversubscribed St James' school and struggling Lion Health Centre.
