I do not consider site DUH217! is suitable for development. The site contains a public footpath with views across the area. I regularly walk across here and development would spoil this amenity.
I am also concerned about the infrastructure of the area and the dangers to children at St James School.
The Kingsway is largely single file due to the volume of parked vehicles many of which use the pavement to park. The road is regularly grid locked by the school. Any development of the site would compound these problems and increase the risk of accidents to children in particular.
