I am horrified at the intended attack on the local greenbelt and open green spaces where I regularly walk, spot birds and take my grandchildren. The wildlife will be decimated by new build and the loss of vital wildlife corridors. These areas have been a lifeline during covid and improve air quality and our health and wellbeing. I particularly walk along public footpaths off Linthouse Lane and bordering Northycote Farm. Northycote Country Park will be badly diminished as a nature reserve by loss of the wildlife corrider provided by neighbouring farmland.
