This space is unsuitable for new Housing due to a complete lack of any parking for new homes. I regularly have to park in an alternative street (including Foredraft Street) due to lack of parking spaces on my road.
Due to Foredraft Street being closed to traffic I beleive that the current access of all traffic entering through Highfield Road is potentially dangerous because it restricts the access of emergency vehicles. If Highfield Road is blocked in icy weather Coleman Hill Avenue is impasable to vehicle's and a fire engine wouldn't be able to access in any weather.
